Little Boy Blue

I've been on a mission this past little while and I have gotten a whole lot of hats finished. My mission - get some baby props and hats finished so that when my friend had her baby I could get some photos done. Well. Mission complete. I posted the peapod photo the other day and now I will finally get more posted. I'm so happy with how they turned out. Thank you to my wonderful friends for helping out, one for supplying the adorable baby and the other for taking photos.

Over the next few day I will be posting a few new photos from this shoot. I also have a few more hats to show off to that weren't really suitable for a boy.

Infant Peapod

This is the cutest prop ever. I bought the pattern from RAKJ Patterns.

I did change the pattern a little bit - turned the sc into dc and I had to use a bigger hook to get the right guage but that's about it. It turned out so good.

My friend had a little boy 3 weeks ago so we had to test it out in a photo shoot. He's so adorable.

The Twirly Hat

I have seen a few hats that look like this, with the twirly ties so I decided I would make my own version. I also really wanted to try a peony flower. I think it turned out super cute and it would work great in any size, from newborn to adult. I have started to put alligator clips on my flowers so you can move them around on your hat, leave them off, or add them to something else.
